Other notable adverts[]

  • Kellogg's Wallace & Gromit adverts - Kellogg's did two adverts for Wallace & Gromit toy promotions in their cereals. The first in 1997 advertised six figures available with Rice Krispies and Corn Flakes and showcased children acting as the characters with their figures, only for one kid to surprise the others with Peter Sallis's actual voice coming out as Wallace. The second in 1998 advertised pencil toppers available with Corn Flakes with a child in a live-action recreation of Wallace's bed contraption.
  • TV Licensing Wallace & Gromit advert - An advert repurposing footage from A Close Shave and dubbed over by Peter Sallis featured Wallace complaining about Shaun, calling about getting a TV license, asking about Wensleydale and then leaving with Gromit to get cheese.
  • Burger King Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit adverts - For the release of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Burger King had a kids meal toy promotion. Unlike the previous Aardman/DreamWorks movie to get a Burger King promotion in Chicken Run, the ads didn't feature any Aardman animation, with one of the Rabbits still being very stiffly animated.
  • "I get by with a little help from my friends"[29][30] - Public Health England's Dementia Friends made an advertisement featuring various celebrities singing to the Beatles song "With a Little Help from My Friends". Amongst the live-action actors are Aloysius Parker from Thunderbirds and Wallace and Gromit, represented through their Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic animation being looped to only have them waving.
  • We Are Most Amused and Amazed advert - The advert for the special featured unique dialogue from Ben Whitehead as Wallace.
