Liam is a minor character in Flushed Away. He is voiced by Sam Fell, one of the film's directors.
Biography[]
Liam first met Roddy in seeing him outside the house boat with Rita's family, pointing him out and calling him a peeping Tom, to which Grandmum Malone mistakes as being Tom Jones. Roddy was then invited in at the table and played along with the idea of him being Jones by singing "She's a Lady". When Liam disguised himself as the plant pot to talk to Rita in the kitchen, he held out a piece of paper drawn to show that Roddy was actually a wanted jewel thief called Millicent Bystander. After Roddy overheard and misinterpreted Rita's conversation, Liam informed her when Roddy was stealing her Jammy Dodger boat.
Later, when Liam and the rest of Rita's family were watching the World Cup halftime, Rita's dad warned everyone about a tidal wave coming as per the Toad's evil plan, initially confusing them in not being a crowd wave and starting panic, as the Slugs rode atop the wave and jumped off. The pipe would gush out and freeze to save the rodents from getting flushed away and caused celebration at Roddy and Rita's efforts.
In the epilogue of the film, Roddy, Rita, her family and the Slugs tested out the new Jammy Dodger 2 boat, with Roddy pressing the speed button and the boat taking off at a brisk pace, with most of them hanging on.
