Julia Sawalha is an English actress who was the voice of Ginger from Aardman Animations' first feature film Chicken Run.
She was not recast for the sequel, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, on reports of her sounding too old for the role, despite recording herself proving otherwise. Despite this, archival footage of her voice is still used in the beginning flashback.
