Creature Comforts is a 1989 short created by Aardman Animations. It is the first film in the Lip Sync series. The short film focuses on various animals in a zoo being interviewed about their living conditions, who complain about the cold weather, poor quality and the lack of space and freedom. These include a depressed gorilla, a Brazilian puma, a young hippopotamus and a family of polar bears.
Creature Comforts won an Academy Award in 1990 for best animated short film, and spawned a series of TV commercials called "Heat Electric". A TV series was later made.
