Summary

Having pulled off a death-defying escape from Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has finally found her dream – a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock, far from the dangers of the human world. Announced

The film was announced on April 26, 2018. It was also announced that Aardman Animations was reuniting with Pathe & StudioCanal. DreamWorks will have no involvement after they ended their partnership with Flushed Away in 2006. Sam Fell is attached to direct with Paul Kewley & Nick Park producing. The Original Chicken Run Writers Karey Kirtpatrick & John O' Farrell will return for the Sequel. The Aardman Co-Founders Peter Lord & David Sproxton will serve as Executive Producers. On June 23 2020 - the 20th anniversary of the films release in the U.S. cinemas- Netflix announced that it had negotiated with Pathe & StudioCanal to aquire the rights to the Sequel. Principal Photography will begin in 2021.
