Rober John Baker was an British television and film writer. He was best known for working on the original run of Doctor Who, and he is co-writer of Wallace and Gromit films The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, A Matter of Loaf and Death and Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention. his name was the inspiration for the Wallace & Gromit character Baker Bob.
